I first met Laura at a local neighborhood meeting in LA in 2018, several months before my company closed its LA location. I had just purchased my dream home in LA in 2016 and needed to find a new job. Once I found a new job, it required relocating to Portland, OR. Facing a looming timeline for relocation, I called Laura, and she met with me the very next day. Not only did she have empathy for my situation, but she came to our first meeting with a fully developed marketing plan for how she would sell my home, detailed lists of comparable houses, and a pricing strategy that she felt would not only sell my house quickly but also maximize my return. In 2022, when my company closed several offices and allowed employees to work permanently from home, I quickly contacted Laura for her help again. I desperately wanted to return to Los Angeles and was ready to purchase a new home. Laura jumped into action, helping me understand the changes to the LA real estate landscape since I relocated. After identifying several properties I flew to LA and spent the weekend with Laura looking at properties. Given my past experience with Laura and the trust we had built, I had no reservations about purchasing a property where she was both the listing agent and represented me as the buyer. Once again, Laura Anderson over delivered. During the entire purchase process, she represented my interests with the utmost integrity and transparency. I got exactly what I wanted without any unnecessary back and forth. Laura was my advocate throughout the entire purchase, ensuring that everything was seamless and respectful of my time and the fact that I was not local to LA.
My positive experience with Laura continued after the offer was accepted. During the closing process, I identified several things that I wanted to be done at the property that required contractors and vendors. Rather than wait until after closing, Laura understood the stress involved with a long-distance relocation and jumped into action. She sent me a list of trusted contractors and vendors that she had worked with in the past. She met them at the property during escrow so they could provide estimates for me. She took time out of her schedule to go to the property and oversee the work that was being done before closing. I never expected this of her or any real estate agent. She simply offered her help to get everything done before I moved in to ease the process for me. I’m eternally grateful that she took all of the stress out of not only buying the home but having upgrades done before I even stepped foot in the driveway.
